Villanova University: Mendel Science Center Addition and Renovation

The Mendel Science Center at Villanova University was constructed in 2 phases: a new science lab addition and a complete renovation of the existing science building, Mendel Hall.

Mendel Hall contains teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, and faculty offices for astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and the University’s information technology departments.

The addition is constructed of a poured-in-place frame with stone veneer. Daniel J. Keating also replaced all existing windows.
