The Bourse: Restoration, Revitalization, Renovation

As CM at Risk, Keating was proud to work inside one of Philadelphia’s architectural icons, the Bourse, located in the heart of our city. DJK spearheaded the restoration and revitalization of the main hall, and also a variety of building renovations including new office suites, amenity spaces, and new lobbies at the 4th and 5th street entrances. There was great consideration to preserve and protect the architectural details and character.

The Bourse, listed on our Nation’s Historic Register, originally served as America’s first commodities exchange market from the 1890’s into the 1960’s. Today, after reviving the main hall and renovations to various spaces above, it serves as a culinary destination for visitors and city dwellers alike, in addition to being a prime location for businesses to call home.
