Daniel J. Keating Company was engaged by SAA EVI to build the new Susquehanna Townhome Apartments development in the Strawberry Mansion Neighborhood of Philadelphia. The new three-story, multi-family residential building contains 78 units, including 8 accessible units, 3 hearing and vision impaired units, and 67 visitable units. The building itself spans approximately 61,000 square feet over the three floors. Attached to the building is a 2,500 square foot community facility space which houses on-site support services for the building.

The building is constructed using a panelized wood frame system and will meet energy standards for optimized efficiency, including Enterprise Green Communities and Energy Star. The building will also achieve a Reduced HERS index through the conscious effort of designing and building the space with enhanced insulation, energy efficient windows, energy efficient appliances & fixtures.
