SEPTA 69th Street Transportation: West Terminal Improvements
The 105 year old multi-modal transit facility was restored and modernized to leverage reinvestment in a historic community and provide vital access to employment opportunities. This project incorporates sustainability design features including green roofs to reduce storm water drainage, natural day light and air brought into the underground passageways, and energy efficient LED illumination.

The following work was completed: Pedestrian ramps were reconstructed to terminal platforms, reconstructed north and center platforms and canopies; partially reconstructed the south platform, reconstructed center platform waiting area, updated safety and security improvements including cameras and new various customer travel amenities were also installed.
