The Daniel J. Keating Company was chosen as the Design Builder for the comprehensive renovation, conversion, and reconstruction of the renowned, historically certified Inquirer Building into the City of Philadelphia’s new Public Services Building. The newly renovated building now houses the City of Philadelphia’s new Police Headquarters (including Homicide, Robbery, and other Police Support and Administrative Divisions), the Medical Examiner’s Office, the Morgue, 911/411 Centers, and the Department of Health Laboratory Services.
The project included complex, fast-track, and high-profile effort. As a result, Keating employed innovative methods to meet the construction, schedule, and regulatory challenges.
This project received LEED certification.
