Villanova University: Center for Engineering Education and Research New Construction

This state-of-the-art concrete stone clad building was constructed to withstand the requirements of today’s modern engineering school.  The facility houses all disciplines of engineering, including civil, environmental, electrical, computer and mechanical engineering laboratories.

Civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering labs are grouped inter-departmentally to enhance interaction between disciplines. Heavier, vibration- and noise-producing labs are located on the ground floor, while electrical and computer labs requiring isolation from vibration and dust are located higher in the building.
